This was given to me under the single promise that I do not fly this.  Why???? Estes has a recall on this model as it apparently is not glued properly and might not eject the parachute.  There has been a few reported cases of this happening, and to avoid possible law suites, they placed a recall on it. My model is missing the engine retainer in the rear, and I probably will not be able to get one any time soon. So, it shall remain retired, but it is a nice model to look at.

The Estes X-15 model rocket is a high-flying 1:44 scale-like version of the North American Aviation hypersonic rocket plane.
