Like a few other kits in my fleet, this was bought simply because it was on sale. I did do some research about it, and from what I have read it really is a fun thing to fly. I bought two.
This is a prebuilt model of the older Flying Saucer kit, #1947 from ‘85-’87. I do prefer the look of the older kit, so I am more than likely going to paint one of these into the older scheme.
I am also really tempted to try and fly one of these with the legs on the bottom so that it lands like a flying saucer, but I have heard that the legs need to be above for the center of pressure and gravity to be accurate.
